British Virgin Islands – Consolidated Water – building, maintaining and operating water desalination plants

The British Virgin Islands are a British Overseas Territory and are situated east of Puerto Rico. They consist of 16 inhabited and more than 20 uninhabited islands, of which Tortola is the largest and most populated island. The British Virgin Islands serve as a hub for many large yacht-chartering businesses. We presently operate three desalination plants in the British Virgin Islands, two on Tortola and one on the remote island of Jost Van Dyke.

JOST VAN DYKE, known as the “barefoot island” because of its casual lifestyle and pristine beaches.The Company has installed and operates a desalination plant on this island,the smallest of the four main islands of the British Virgin Islands.

About Tortola

TORTOLA, the most populated of the British Virgin Islands, is located in the northeastern Caribbean Sea, just east of Puerto Rico, and is a world-renowned destination for yachtsmen as well as home to several large yacht-chartering businesses. Consolidated Water ‘s affiliate, Ocean Conversion (BVI) Ltd., supplies drinking water in bulk to the government of the British Virgin Islands.
