50th Anniversary – NASDAQ Opening Bell Ceremony
Consolidated Water Co. Ltd. (NASDAQ Global Select: CWCO), a leading global developer and operator of advanced water supply and treatment plants, rang the Nasdaq Opening Bell on Monday, August 14, 2023.
The event commemorated the company’s founding in the Cayman Islands in August 1973 by a group of visionary Caymanian and international investors, and 50 years of world-class water treatment services the company has provided to the communities and clients it serves.
Consolidated Water’s chairman of the board, Wil Pergande, spoke during the ceremony. He was then joined by other members of the Consolidated Water team and rang the opening bell at 9:30 a.m.
The event was broadcast live across major business news networks, including CNBC, Fox Business News and Bloomberg TV, and simultaneously displayed on the Nasdaq Tower in Times Square.
“We’re honored to celebrate the 50th anniversary of our founding at the historic Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square and take this auspicious opportunity to bring recognition to the tremendous growth and success we have achieved over these years,” stated Pergande.
